The Afoxalypse
The Afoxalypse was an event in Glolf History that happenend after the Second IGA Opening. When the glolfer 1 managed to invade other games they never were meant to be in, the problem got so bad spacetime started to fall apart, leading to corrupted players and eventually a large fight which saw 1 becoming friends with The Sliced One
Offical Records
On May, 9th, 2021, a glitch allowed infamous glolfer 1, (better known as 1🦊, or 1fox,) to invade glolf matches that they were not in, dueling other players and themselves. this glitch got exponetially worse as it was found out that you can "send" glolfers to other matches by simply putting them in matches in other servers. This made the problem exponentially worse until the Glolf Discord Bot broke, disallowing any other games to be played. However, the command to check glolfer stats could still be used, The Sliced One used this fact to communicate to the splortsfans via the modifiers each glolfer has. This lead to them calling many glolfers to action to defeat 1. A game of glolf containing Simulacrum, Meteor Heartfelt, Razor Defrost, Jasper Groove, Thalia Soliloque, Benedict Dicetower, Bingo Polaroid, Pumpernickel Fan, Baby Bop, Tantalus Chewed, Freddie Missouri, Load Bearing Coconut, and Frankle Knives was set in order to fight 1, it was successful with Bingo Polaroid landing the last shot, and winning the game. Afterwards, 1 promised to stop crashing dimensions and forging a friendship with The Sliced One, leading to them getting the modifier "🤝💖"
Rifts
The exponentially multiplying foxes broke spacetime worldwide, leading to rifts opening at random that lead to... Somewhere, these rifts and unallowed foxes forced the IGA to call off offical play as the glolfers attempted to escape the foxes. Many were overwhelmed by the foxes and rifts, with Baby Bop and Melissa Bop being corrupted, and Solar Dies loosing a good portion of plasma. A small group of glolfers consisting of Rebecca Monarch, Freddie Missouri, Solar Dies, Legally Jorts, and Bingo Polaroid were forced to retreat to the skys with Solar pulling Rebecca's Glolf cart to the skies, only decending to answer the call.
Aftermath
The ending of The Afoxalypse led to many glolfers learning that the world they knew was in fact, just a simulation. However, the Glolfers managed to stay strong and despair over such fact, an occurance that some Glolf Researchers believe was kick-started by 1 becoming friends with The Sliced One.
